In this video, I’ll show you step by step how to crochet the honeycomb stitch pattern.
We’ll start with an even number of chain stitches. In the second row, we’ll work single crochet stitches, and in the third row, we’ll begin forming the honeycomb pattern using single crochet spike stitches.
In the English subtitles, I use the correct US crochet term, single crochet spike stitch. To make this stitch, insert the hook into a stitch in the previous row, pull up a long loop to the height of the current row, and complete the stitch as a regular single crochet.
