The last few days have been… how shall I put it… a full-on digital crochet-hook dance.
The shopping cart disappeared, a page wandered off somewhere, and at one point I was sending visitors to the ‘Gift Ideas’ page instead.
If anyone had seen me muttering at the keyboard, it could easily have gone into the YouTube category
‘handmade artist vs. HTML’. 😄
But now, at long last, Tiina Butiik’s shopping cart is back, better than ever.
Everything works faster and more cleverly, and honestly, even Bim the cat is pleased because I’m no longer thumping the desk.
All the products now come straight from the database, the shopping cart no longer vanishes, and the payment options are neatly lined up again.
🧶 When the code stops running, pick up a crochet hook

When my head couldn’t hold any more code, I went to the kitchen. Not to make coffee, but to crochet pot holders.
Apparently the best cure for any technical glitch is a small one-of-a-kind square of cotton yarn.
And that is how the crocheted pot holders came about. No matter how much technology torments me,
a crochet hook can always save the day.
Those pot holders were finished at exactly the moment PayPal finally decided to put its buttons in the right place.
I suppose you could say that this week my handmade shop became not only cosier, but also smarter and more alive.
And once again I got proof that handicraft is the best therapy, even when it happens beside a keyboard.
💬 In conclusion
So the next time something changes in the shop or a new category appears,
just remember: it isn’t some automatic system, it’s Tiina,
at two in the morning with a cup of coffee beside her, fixing a line of code and
crocheting a pot holder in between so her thoughts start moving in the right direction again.
