Macrame Angel Ornament – An Easy Christmas Decoration

Macrame Angel Ornament – An Easy Christmas Decoration

Christmas is getting closer, and there is still time to knot a little angel. This time I am making a macrame tree ornament with a wooden bead for the head, cord wings and a long fringed dress. A few knots, and the little angel starts to take shape.

Hang it on your Christmas tree or tie it to a gift. A little handmade addition makes even simple wrapping feel more personal.

What you will need

• 2 mm cord
• a ring
• a wooden bead
• scissors

Let’s knot together

Follow the video step by step. Pause whenever you need to, work at your own pace and continue when you are ready. There is no spoken commentary in this video, just background music.

Maimu and Bim’s knotting corner

Maimu makes a macrame angel while Bim plays with the cord

Maimu: “Wings ready, dress ready… Bim, where is my last piece of cord?”
Bim: “Quality control. I’m checking whether it can withstand a tug from my paw.”
Maimu: “With your help, we’ll have a proper tangle finished before Christmas too.”

Happy knotting!
