I made cake from this mix twice: the first time according to the recipe on the packet, and the second time with a little improvisation of my own.
Version 1, which is the Vilma biscuit mix recipe printed on the packet.
Version 2 – because I like experimenting a little, I used everything shown in the picture. Yes, even gingerbread spice.

- 1 packet Vilma biscuit mix
- 250 g baking margarine
- apples; I used 4 medium apples
- cinnamon
- half a glass of sugar
- vanilla sugar,
- a little gingerbread spice
- 50 g flaked almonds
I rubbed the flour mix and margarine together into crumbs, pressed three quarters of the crumb mixture onto the tray, covered it with a layer of apples and sprinkled over the cinnamon-sugar mixture. I mixed the remaining crumbs with the flaked almonds, sprinkled them over the cake and put it in the oven.

This time I used a baking tray rather than a cake tin. I baked it for 35 minutes: 25 minutes on the middle shelf and 10 minutes on the top shelf.

And there it was, finished. What does it taste like? I don’t know yet 🙂
