I spent about a week crocheting the edging, no more and no less than six metres of it. Then I spent four hours, with short coffee breaks, sewing it to the fabric. It was made for the round table when it is extended. At least now, when the whole family is together and the table has to be opened out, I no longer have the problem of having no tablecloth large enough. Sometimes it felt as if I might have to put a bed sheet on it.
