Maimu<\/strong>said this morning, \u201cTiina, putSnowflake Herta<\/em>on your head. Then you will look like a ball of candyfloss, only clever.\u201dBim<\/strong>nodded with authority, as only cats can, and checked whether the brim matchedhis<\/em>parasol. Naturally it did. The feline committee approved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a hat forcrisp, not bitterly freezing<\/strong>weather. The airy stitch pattern breathes. If the cold starts biting, add a headband underneath and life is lovely again. The pattern holds its shape and the small brim adds charm. Your mood can do the rest. There are similar hats in shops, but \u201cmade by hand\u201d is a little luxury you can wear every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If anyone asks why white, it is because white goes with everything. A milkshake? Works. A violently green coat? Works. Maimu\u2019s floral shawl?
