And so\u00a0<strong>Whipped-Cream Viivika<\/strong>\u00a0was born, with a burgundy flap and a vanilla-cream body, a\u00a0<strong>completely hand-crocheted bag<\/strong>\u00a0made from strong 5 mm braided polyester cord. The ribbed flap holds its shape while the body remains soft yet durable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The name arrived all by itself the moment I fastened the final stitch and looked at the finished bag. It reminded me of cherry jam with whipped cream, hence\u00a0<em>Whipped-Cream Viivika<\/em>. Feminine and practical at the same time, like a balance between sweet and strong. This is one of those bags you do not put away in a cupboard. You leave it on a chair simply because it is nice to look at.
